The White Clarke Group is an IT consultancy business, specializing in the provision of high quality business technology and consultancy solutions to the automotive, asset, mortgage, consumer finance and insurance sectors.
Due to successful growth, the group needed to expand its teams and to recruit 3 to 5 IT Trainees and 1 Sales and Marketing Trainee. |
The Brief
White Clarke Group required a streamlined, efficient and time saving method of recruiting it’s trainees.
They were looking for high calibre candidates – to train to work in the IT areas of Business Analysis, Software Development and Software and Systems Testing, and in the Sales and Marketing Department.
Bright, experienced individuals were required, particularly those who had gained relevant work experience during a placement year or similar.
The Process
Graduate Success met with White Clarke Group, including with employees who had previously joined as Graduate Trainees, to discuss the roles and company culture and to identify ideal candidates.
Graduate Success managed the initial candidate screening and first interview process. A selection of candidates were shortlisted and put forward for final interview at White Clarke Group. The final interview stage included Psychometric and aptitude tests, plus the opportunity to meet management and staff of the teams involved.
The Success
Five Graduates were offered roles within White Clarke Group with a hit rate of 3:1 (we only had to interview 14 Graduates to offer 5).
Four candidates were appointed to IT Trainee positions and one in to the Sales and Marketing role with a hit rate of 2:1. (We only needed to see 2 Graduates to offer 1 however, they were both equally suited to the role)
All the new starters settled in well and quickly began working on strategic business projects.
